Students scoring 28 or higher on the ACT now qualify for a scholarship covering up to $20,000 for two years at Northeast.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said its Phi Theta Kappa chapter won several individual and chapter awards at the Mississippi-Louisiana Regional Conference, including a 5-Star Chapter Award and multiple advisor recognitions.

Northeast Mississippi Community College says its Northeast Honors Institute is accepting applications through March 15 and offers collaborative, deeper-learning opportunities for students.

Northeast said student marketing interns interviewed Liz Calvery, the college’s marketing and public relations specialist, on this week’s episode of “TigerTime.” The episode includes Calvery discussing her career path and offering tips for those interested in marketing and public relations.

Brady Crabb of Rienzi and Madelyn Long of Iuka received the Larry & Trudys Tuckier Scholarship Endowment, the NEMCC Foundation said. The foundation said scholarship applications for the 2026-207 academic year are open through March 15.

Ashley Schmidt, a sophomore Medical Laboratory Technology student from Okolona, was named the 2026 recipient of the Lois B. Jones and David R. Pace Memorial Scholarship, the Mississippi/Louisiana chapter of the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science announced.
