Governor Tate Reeves has appointed Renee McBride Porter of Columbia as chancellor for Mississippi’s 10th Chancery Court District, filling a vacancy caused by a retirement.

Gov. Tate Reeves appointed Celeste Embrey Wilson to the Mississippi Supreme Court, Northern District 3, Place 1, to fill a vacancy created by Robert P. Chamberlin’s confirmation to a federal judgeship, the governor’s office said. Her term begins Aug. 1, 2026.
