NEMCC Student Represents Mississippi at International Leadership Seminar in Spain

Ella Mills, a student at Northeast Mississippi Community College, recently represented Mississippi at the International Leadership Seminar for State Officers (ILSSO). The program is among the most competitive leadership initiatives in the FFA.

After serving as a 2024–2025 FFA State Officer, Mills was selected as one of only 75 state officers nationwide to participate in the program. She traveled to Spain, visiting cities including Barcelona, Seville, Toledo, Córdoba, and Madrid to explore agricultural systems.

According to a NEMCC news release, experiences like this help build global awareness, leadership skills, and real-world connections. The college says such opportunities demonstrate how students are prepared to lead beyond the classroom.
