PTK leaders say College Project improved campus spaces and student leadership

Iota Zeta President Anna Slack and Vice President of Service Elena Renfrow said the chapter’s College Project concentrated this year on improving campus spaces, including the outdoor classroom and the Frank Haney Union, as Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Awareness Week concluded.

Slack and Renfrow said the work aimed to create meaningful opportunities for members to serve fellow students and support the institution. They said the projects were chosen to strengthen the campus community.

The leaders said collaborative projects give members hands-on chances to develop leadership skills. They said participants also build lasting fellowship through shared work.

Slack and Renfrow said the initiatives reflect PTK’s commitments to scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. They said the College Project is one way the chapter puts those values into practice.
