Adrian McCoy sentenced to 20 years for meth trafficking
Adrian Rashad McCoy pleaded guilty Feb. 19, 2026, to trafficking methamphetamine and was sentenced to 20 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, the office of First Circuit District Attorney Jason D. Herring said.
McCoy was indicted on the charge by a Pontotoc County grand jury, the office said.
Judge Kelly Mims imposed the 20-year sentence. McCoy will not be eligible for parole or early release and must serve the full term, the district attorney’s office said.
The case was investigated by Kory Clowers, the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit. Assistant District Attorneys Megan French and Sidra Winter prosecuted the case on behalf of the state, the office said.
