Blue Mountain Christian University Hosts International Students President’s Picnic
Blue Mountain Christian University hosted its annual International Students President’s Picnic last night, providing a space for international students to connect and feel supported. The event was organized by Skylar Da Costa and Dr. Rosalynn Rutland.
Students enjoyed an evening of food, fellowship, and faith, with table hosts including community members and campus staff building relationships with students far from home. President Barbara McMillin opened the event with a prayer, and Dr. Jack Moser delivered a message titled “Home Is Where the Heart Is,” emphasizing that Jesus living in the heart makes any place feel like home, according to sources.
The evening featured door prize giveaways and meaningful conversations, leaving a lasting impression on attendees. The event aimed to remind students they are loved and part of the Blue Mountain family, despite being thousands of miles from their native countries.
