Cold front to lower temperatures before gradual warm-up begins Sunday

A dry cold front will lower temperatures across the region, with highs expected to be in the upper 30s to lower 50s on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will begin to warm up Sunday, reaching levels well above normal for mid-February, providing a welcome change for those hoping for spring-like weather. The warm-up is expected to continue into next week.

No precipitation is expected with the cold front, and the temperature increase is part of a broader trend toward milder weather in the coming days, weather officials said.
