Three crashes were causing lane blockages and delays on Interstates 55 and 20 in the Jackson metropolitan area, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.

In Hinds County, MDOT said a crash on Interstate 20 before Gallatin Street at exit 45A had the left two westbound lanes blocked. MDOT urged drivers to slow down and avoid distractions when driving near the affected areas, the agency said in a social media post.
