A major gas line break between Ripley and Blue Mountain has left many residents without gas service, according to local authorities.
Crews from the gas department, along with assistance from local contractors and New Albany’s gas department, are working to repair the damaged line. Officials say the situation is complex and uncontrollable circumstances may delay the process into the night.
Residents are asked for patience as workers continue efforts to restore service as quickly as possible.
