Heat & Wellness Spa to host back-to-school drive, giveaway on Aug. 1

Heat & Wellness Spa in Ripley, Mississippi, will host a back-to-school drive and community giveaway on Aug. 1 to collect supplies for local students and teachers, the business said.

The spa said it will sell snow cones that day to raise funds for school supplies and is accepting donations of backpacks, school supplies, shoes, children’s clothing, socks, kids’ tumblers, Kleenex and other school essentials.

Heat & Wellness Spa said it will give away free hot dogs and drinks while supplies last during the Community Giveaway.

Organizers asked anyone who can donate or who knows a child in need to contact Heat & Wellness Spa directly. The spa listed its address as 608 City Ave. South in Ripley and its phone number as 662-502-2907, and said every contribution helps local students start the school year with confidence.
