The Mississippi Department of Transportation awarded District 5 engineer Neil Patterson the department’s Chief Engineer’s Award, MDOT said.
MDOT said the honor recognizes Patterson’s leadership, dedication and service, particularly his management during a recent ice storm that heavily impacted roadways in north Mississippi.
The department added that Patterson has shown continued excellence in operational efficiency, team development and daily problem solving throughout his career, MDOT said.
