MDOT executive director discusses fuel tax increase on SuperTalk

Mississippi Department of Transportation Executive Director Brad White discussed the state’s fuel tax increase and its impact on highways during an appearance on SuperTalk Mississippi’s “Mornings with Richard Cross” on April 8, 2026, White said.

White elaborated on the fuel tax increase passed during the 2025 legislative session and described how the revenue will be used to address the highway system, he said.

He also discussed capacity projects, roundabouts and economic development during the interview, White said.
