Mississippi DPS reopens Jackson office; Vicksburg remains closed

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said the Jackson station reopened at 10:04 a.m. on March 16.

MDPS asked customers to be patient as systems power back on and to schedule appointments at dps.ms.gov, the agency said.

The department said the Vicksburg station remains closed.

MDPS said it employs more than 1,000 sworn and non-sworn workers who help patrol roads and highways and work to keep illegal drugs off the streets.
