The safety of students remains the top priority for Mountain School, according to an update from school officials Wednesday. The school continues to operate under a boil water order issued by the city.
Officials said water sample testing typically takes about 48 hours, and they may not have additional information until Friday. The school community is eager to welcome students back and is hopeful for a swift resolution.
In the meantime, staff are removing debris and working toward full restoration and recovery, according to the update from Barbara C. McMillin, the school’s president. She thanked the community for their continued prayers during this time.
