North Mississippi roads are experiencing icy conditions, resembling an ice rink, according to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol, Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division, and other first responders are working to maintain safety on the roads, the agency said.
Officials advise residents to stay home, stay warm, and avoid travel until conditions improve.
