William Wallace Ellis, 53, of Saltillo was arrested March 6 after agents found a felony amount of alleged methamphetamine and numerous firearms during a search, the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit said.
Agents with the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit and the Saltillo Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Pulltight Road within Saltillo city limits, the unit said.
Ellis was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, the unit said. Lee County Justice Court Judge Chuck Hopkins set bond at $50,000, court records show.
The case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury, the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit said.
