U.S. 45 southbound in Wayne County will be closed from 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, for approximately two weeks to allow repairs to a drainage structure, the state’s Department of Transportation (MDOT) said.
The closure will affect the stretch from the State Route 57 interchange to State Route 42, MDOT said.
Motorists were advised to detour via State Route 57 south and take State Route 42 east to U.S. 45 south during the temporary closure, the department said.
MDOT posted the advisory and a map on its traffic website, mdottraffic.com, the agency said.
