$2 Powerball ticket wins $200,000 in Gulfport

A Gulfport resident won a $200,000 Powerball prize on Nov. 2, 2026, after matching four of the five white balls and the Powerball, the Mississippi Lottery said.

The player purchased a $2 play and added the $1 Power Play option, which multiplied the base $50,000 prize to $200,000, the Mississippi Lottery said.

The Mississippi Lottery said the winning ticket was sold at Lorraine Chevron.

According to the Mississippi Lottery, the jackpot has climbed to $835 million; it is the second-largest jackpot of the year behind Illinois’ $1.04 billion prize won on Aug. 12 and is the 10th-largest in Powerball history.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and are available at authorized Mississippi Lottery retailers statewide, the lottery said.
