Analysts Question Mississippi State’s Chances of Reaching Omaha

Preseason expectations were high for Mississippi State, but with the regular season winding down, questions remain about how far the Bulldogs can go, Brian Hadad, Carlo Barone and Brooks Bryan said.

The three discussed whether Mississippi State can find its way to the College World Series in Omaha or whether its postseason will end before then, according to the panel.

Hadad, Barone and Bryan also examined how the team can continue to improve at this late juncture, they said.

The analysts noted that Mississippi State’s remaining regular-season games and any postseason matchups will decide the Bulldogs’ fate in the race to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, the panel said.
