Analysts Say Mississippi State’s Season Will Be Decided in First Four Weeks

Analysts Brian Hadad and Carlo Barone said Mississippi State faces more early pressure than any other Southeastern Conference team and that the Bulldogs’ season will be decided in the first four weeks, according to the analysts.

Hadad and Barone said their assessment comes from comparing the schedules of all 16 SEC teams. They said the opening month will leave little margin for error for Mississippi State.

The analysts predicted that by the end of September, fans and observers will know “everything we need to know” about the Bulldogs, Jeff Lebby and the direction of his program, Hadad and Barone said.

Hadad and Barone’s evaluation frames the early portion of the schedule as pivotal for Mississippi State. They said the results of those games will shape expectations for the remainder of the season and the program’s immediate future.
