NEW YORK (AP) — Nolan Xavier Wells, 18, died after taking a boat trip with friends off Mississippi’s Gulf Coast during a July 4 celebration, according to his family.
Wells was last seen on the water on July 4 and was found dead two days later, his parents said. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, with conflicting stories and unexplained details, they added.
The family has expressed confusion and concern about what happened that day. They say the incident is filled with implausible explanations and missing information, prompting their call for a thorough investigation.
