Jackson councilman pushes to extend youth curfew
Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes said he wants the city to extend its youth curfew to better protect children, WJTV reported.
Stokes, who represents Ward 3, told WJTV the city needs to do more to protect children.
City leaders have enacted or discussed several youth curfews over the past five years, and the current curfew is expected to expire in September, WJTV reported.
Stokes urged extending the city’s existing youth curfew ordinance, WJTV reported.
