Jackson-area organizations urged eligible voters to register and update their information before Mississippi’s voter registration deadline of Oct. 5, 2026, WJTV reported Sept. 15, 2026.
WJTV reported that Mississippi Votes and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority held a voter registration and election information outreach event at Millsaps College on Sept. 15, 2026, which is National Voter Registration Day.
The report said organizers encouraged eligible residents to register or update registration details ahead of the Oct. 5, 2026 deadline.
