Mississippi State and Auburn meet in Starkville this weekend in a series that could determine which team hosts a super regional, analysts Brian Hadad and Carlo Barone said.
Hadad and Barone said the matchup carries significant SEC implications, with more than three SEC wins potentially on the line for the teams involved.
The analysts added that the outcome could influence postseason logistics, including which team would have to travel for the second round of the NCAA Tournament and which might earn the right to host a super regional.
