Mississippi Votes Action Fund reports phone outages, machine malfunctions at Nov. 3 polls
On November 3, 2026, the Mississippi Votes Action Fund reported that phone lines to the Hinds County and Jackson County circuit clerks were down and that voting machines malfunctioned at several polling locations.
The group said machine malfunctions occurred at locations in Lamar, Lincoln, Hinds and Jackson counties and that the Hinds and Jackson County circuit clerk phone lines were down, according to a WJTV report.
