One killed in shooting at Pine Ridge Gardens Apartments, Jackson police say

One person was killed in a shooting at Pine Ridge Gardens Apartments on June 13, Jackson Police Chief RaShall Brackney said.

Brackney said officers responded to the complex just after 5 p.m. after receiving a call about the shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man suffering injuries, Brackney said.

The Jackson Police Department is investigating the incident, Brackney said. Police did not immediately release additional details, according to WJTV.
