Two injured in shooting at Hazlehurst bar

Hazlehurst police are investigating after two people were injured in a shooting at The Platinum Bar and Grill, Hazlehurst Police Chief Tarrell Davis told WJTV.

The shooting occurred around 1:45 a.m. on July 19, 2026, Davis said.

According to Davis, a man was shot in the arm and a woman also was shot. Davis did not immediately provide details on the woman’s injuries, WJTV reported.

Hazlehurst police are conducting an investigation, Davis told WJTV. No further details were immediately released.
