Two safeties were named to Mississippi State’s all-time squad in a T&L Summer School installment by Carlo Barone, who reported that writer Brian Hadad was tasked with narrowing the list of candidates to two.
The piece notes that cornerback has long been a position loaded with elite talent at Mississippi State, but that safety has also produced all-time great Bulldogs, according to Barone.
Barone described Hadad’s assignment as an unenviable one, saying the writer had to pare a deeper list of candidates down to two choices for the all-time squad.
