Attack at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport killed 12 and wounded over 300, Saudi authorities say
Saudi authorities said on Oct. 10, 2026, an attack at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed 12 people and wounded more than 300, with some of the injured described as being in critical condition.
The Saudi authorities’ statement listed the dead as four Saudi citizens, two Bangladeshi nationals, a Palestinian, a U.S. citizen, an Egyptian, a Jordanian, a Syrian and a Sudanese.
The statement said some of those wounded were in critical condition.
NPR reported the attack was the latest of several in the past week at King Khalid International Airport and said it was expected to increase Saudi pressure on allies, including the United States, to provide military support for the kingdom.
