NWS: Post-tropical Isaias brings light showers and gusts to parts of northeast Mississippi

In a Facebook post on Oct. 10, 2026, the National Weather Service in Memphis said post-tropical Cyclone Isaias was pushing northward, producing light showers generally east of the Mississippi River and occasional wind gusts up to 25 mph, mainly across northeast Mississippi and along the Tennessee River.

The agency said it expected those conditions to move out that evening and forecast a warm and dry pattern through at least the middle of next week.
