Graham Platner withdraws from Maine U.S. Senate race

Graham Platner submitted paperwork to withdraw from Maine’s U.S. Senate race, his withdrawal notice said.

In the notice, Platner said, “people are desperate for change” and that was why they made him the Democratic nominee, the notice said.

Maine Democrats must pick a replacement by July 27, the withdrawal notice said.
