Investigators say fiancée orchestrated Carrollton woman’s daytime killing

Investigators said Holly Elkins orchestrated the killing of Alyssa Burkett, who was murdered in broad daylight in Carrollton, Texas.

Police said Andrew Beard, the father of Burkett’s child, initially became a suspect in the case.

Investigators later said they uncovered what they described as a twisted murder plot that they allege was carried out at the direction of Beard’s fiancée, Holly Elkins.
