Kyle Busch, 41, who won more races than anyone across NASCAR’s three national series, died after being hospitalized, a joint statement from the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR said.
NASCAR said Busch held the record for the most wins across the sport’s three national series.
The joint statement said he died after being hospitalized but did not immediately provide further details about his illness or the circumstances of his hospitalization.
