One in four U.S. workers stay in jobs for health insurance, survey finds

About 24% of U.S. employees remain in unwanted jobs to keep health insurance, a survey released Wednesday found.

The report said that share has risen significantly since 2021.

The survey described the phenomenon as “job lock” and called the uptick a concerning sign for the U.S. economy, the report said.

The findings were published in a report released Wednesday, according to the survey.
