Texas Senate candidate says he heard rumor he ‘had died’ while off with flu
The Hill reported Oct. 15, 2026, that Texas Senate candidate James Talarico said he learned a rumor circulated that he “had died” while he was off the campaign trail with the flu.
The Hill said CNN anchor Erin Burnett asked Talarico about the conspiracy theories during a town hall event.
The report says Talarico described the circulating claims as “crazy” as he responded to the theories while recovering from the illness.
