Iowa Democratic Senate candidate Josh Turek said Wednesday that Kamala Harris should not campaign for him, he told reporters at a campaign event in Cedar Rapids.
Turek is a state representative and a two-time Paralympic basketball gold medalist, campaign materials identify.
He made the remarks while speaking at the Cedar Rapids event, where reporters questioned him about potential outside support, according to the event account.
