Former President Donald Trump urged Texas voters on Sunday to back Attorney General Ken Paxton, saying Paxton “WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!!!” in a social media post.
In the post, Trump wrote, “TEXAS, REMEMBER! Ken Paxton was a GREAT Attorney General, probably the best in the Country. He was also very loyal to your favorite President, ME, as the Dumocrats played…”
Trump again promoted Paxton, who is a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, in the message. The post used all caps and exclamation points to emphasize the endorsement.
