U.S. Army Europe and Africa commander submits retirement paperwork
Gen. Chris Donahue, commander of U.S. Army Europe and Africa, submitted paperwork to retire, a Pentagon official told The Hill.
The Pentagon official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, told The Hill that Donahue filed the paperwork after a little over a year in the post.
The official spoke to The Hill on background because the discussions were internal, according to the report.
The development follows months of exits from top military leaders, The Hill reported.
