The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, led by Jim Hood, is issuing a lawsuit against deceptive student loan lenders. Hood held a press conference and made the release via ago.state.ms.us.
According to the Attorney Generals Facebook page 60% of Mississippi student loan borrowers and in debt due to student loans.
There have been several reported cases of borrowers paying on their loans for years without the balance decreasing.
