Local non-profit cleaning community, teaching life lessons

Leadership is Servanthood is a Tippah County based nonprofit that is teaching the youth of the community about what it means to serve.

And they are cleaning the community in the process.

They put youth to work cleaning islands and properties of the elderly and others that may have trouble doing so. And they teach the leadership principles of author John Maxwell.

“We will start our classes on Friday June 22(due to camps and VBS) from 6pm-7pm at FBC in Ripley. Classes for this series will last 12 weeks. Our first series will be “Today Matters” by John Maxwell,” the organization announced on their Facebook.

This series teaches:

We underestimate today. The truth is that the most important day you will ever experience is today. Today is the key to your success. Maxwell offers 12 decisions and disciplines-he calls it his daily dozen-that can be learned and mastered by any person to achieve success.
