Blue Mountain Christian University lost 2-1 to No. 2-seeded Grand View University on a walk-off single in the seventh inning Monday in Oklahoma City, the school said.
The game opened Blue Mountain’s participation in the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round, the university said.
The matchup was tightly contested throughout, with Grand View scoring the winning run in the final frame, according to the school’s release.
Blue Mountain Christian provided the result in a game report released Monday afternoon, the university said.
