The Tupelo Police Department said it is observing National Police Week 2026 this week, joining communities across the country to honor men and women who serve in law enforcement.
In a statement, the department thanked its officers, dispatchers, civilian staff and other public safety personnel for their dedication to serving the city of Tupelo.
The department said it also remembered officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The department thanked the community for its continued support, the statement said.
