Nine Tippah County girls named to basketball All-State team

Nine Tippah County girls basketball players were named to various All-State teams for their 2021-2022 season according to www.TippahSports.com

Girls from Walnut, Ripley, Pine Grove and Blue Mountain were selected.

Walnut had the only 1st team selection in Tippah County.

Below are the selections.

Walnut:

MK Vuncannon made the SportsMississippi.com FIRST TEAM All-State and the CaptialSports honorable mention all-state team. Vuncannon finished the year tops in the state in points per game.

Harley Garner made the CapitalSports Honorable Mention All State team

Ripley:

Alorian Story made the SportsMississippi.com 2nd team All State in 4A.

Pine Grove:

Lana Rowland made the SportsMississippi.com Third Team All State and the CapitalSports Honorable Mention All State team.

Blue Mountain:

Teauna Foote made the SportsMississippi.com Third Team All State
