12 dogs found abandoned at Tippah county residence

There is an urgent situation in Blue Mountain as several dogs are in need of emergency rescue.

A total of 12 dogs have been abandoned at a residence and neighbors are saying they are fed up and want the dogs dead or removed. At least two of these are females who are possibly pregnant.

Union County Humane Society has 44 foster homes and every one of them is full, along with foster homes in Tippah County.

If you can help with this dire situation, please contact Union County Humane Society or the Animal Foster & Rescue of Tippah County on Facebook.

“It’s a great day to save puppy dog lives,” according to a release from the Tippah Rescue.
