A magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit in Tennessee and was felt as far south as Jackson MS.
The earthquake and its 3.3 magnitude aftershock was centered in eastern Tennessee early Wednesday morning.
Reports of the quake, considered a mid size one, have been felt all over the southeast.
