Inaugural ‘MissiHippi’ Festival set to bring music and art to north MS
On August 24th, the Inaugural MissiHippi Music and Arts Festival will kick off with a deluge of music, art, and activities. Join the crowds at Foxfire Ranch as you groove, jam, and connect with those who share the same passion you do: Music.
The countdown to the first ever MissiHippi Music and Arts Festival has hit the single digits, while temperatures are far from comparison in the dog days of a Mississippi summer. Although rather steamy outside, the heat hath no fury like the fire about to be dropped on a rural ranch in Waterford Mississippi.
August 24th will be the first time a plethora of high-octane anthems, indie funk, southern rock, hip-hop, and psychedelic jams will come together on Foxfire Ranch. Artists such as Magic City Hippies, The Weeks, Stop Light Observations, and Future Birds will consecrate the bucolic festival. Beyond the soulful array of hip-shaking music, enjoy yoga at the ‘HYPe Lounge’ and live painting with various local artists.
MissiHippi fest will be a free space for ethereal mojo, dynamic jams, eye-catching art, and of course… good eats! With the tastiest options such as tacos, burgers, and even vegan delicacies, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your festival day cravings. Come and enjoy a day of alluring performances, kaleidoscopic art, great food, and good vibes at the MissiHippi Music and Arts Fest. A portion of all profits will be donated to help improve music education in Mississippi. Join together with other MissiHippians to experience a day of unity in art and music on August 24th.
