Mary Childs of Peoples Bank elected head of Mississippi Bankers Association

Mrs. Mary Childs of the Peoples Bank of Ripley, has been elected the first ever womans chairperson of the Mississippi Bankers Association.

Childs is the President and CEO of the Peoples bank and has been with the institution for nearly four decades.

She previously served as a board member for the MBA education foundation and has been vice-chairperson since 2017.
