MEMA issues warning for severe storms, possible tornado Monday

MEMA, along with the National Weather Service, are issuing warning regarding severe storms on Monday, October 21st. Timing of the storms are early morning into early afternoon.

They suggest you have multiple ways of receiving weather alerts.

Mississippi’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week begins tomorrow, and Mother Nature is well aware. Our partners at the National Weather Service (NWS) are calling for severe storms Monday morning thru the evening hours. Damaging winds are the primary threat.

However, the possibility of a tornado in your area cannot be ruled out. Be sure to have multiple ways of receiving weather alerts and warnings. #mswx
