The 2018 Miss Mississippi pageant winner is a Booneville high school grad, Asya Branch.
Branch was crowned Miss Mississippi Saturday night in Vicksburg.
Branch, a communications major at Ole Miss, will move on to represent Mississippi in the 2019 Miss America Pageant on September 9 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
