Multiple reports of suspicious, potential sex trafficking in Ripley & MBI WARNING

Over the last month, there have been multiple reports on social media in Ripley of suspicious, potential human trafficking related activity in Ripley. One person involved described it as “children being involved.”

Statewide, the threat has become such that the MBI issued the following statement:

Human Trafficking is a high priority issue with @MDPSMBI. This is no longer a crime you only hear about in other parts of the world. If you have information about or wish to report this crime please call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 18883737888.
